Established on June 28, 1995, Wuxi NOK-Freudenberg Oil Seal Co., Ltd. is a foreign-invested enterprise jointly established by NOK Corporation of Japan and the Freudenberg Group of Germany. Located in the Xishan Economic and Technological Development Zone in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, the company is one of three major manufacturing bases operated by NOK-Freudenberg in China and the largest manufacturing base of the NOK Group in the country.

The company has strong R&D capabilities and has been recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise and a Provincial Innovative Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise. In 2025, NOK-Freudenberg officially opened its Technology Center in China, representing a total investment of RMB 200 million.
